Anxiety

Anxiety can come in many ways that you may not recognize until you begin to explore those uncomfortable, overwhelming feelings or situations you may be experiencing. Whether it’s constant intrusive worry about the future that you can’t seem to stop, inability to focus, restless sleep, irritability for unknown reasons, tense muscles or the upset stomach, anxiety can be debilitating and affect your ability to accomplish your goals.

Depression

Depression can be difficult to explain and even more difficult to overcome. It can be painful and may feel like a sadness that won’t go away. It can make you feel tired all the time,  or sometimes cause physical aches and pains or make you to feel like overeating or not eating at all. Depression can be destructive, having a negative impact on personal goals and enjoyment of usual activities. It can even make it difficult to think or concentrate often impairing ones ability to make decisions.

Addiction/Substance Abuse

Addiction is complex and 100% treatable and does not discriminate amongst races, socio-economic lines, or levels of education. It is a chronic, progressive, and fatal illness if left untreated. It impacts not only the individual but the family and the community that surround the individual. Like most health challenges a person faces in their lifetime, the origins of addiction stem from some personal combination of nature and nurture experience in your life journey.
